Our Commitments are shaped by our policies and procedures. Together they outline our approach to sustainability both internal and external. They also define our dedication to regulatory requirements and they embody our fundamental principles
Early on, GT AirCo founders were exposed to some exceptionally well-run companies led by great people. Their timeless statements relating their organizations' commitment to quality work at a fair price for the mutual benefit of their customers rings true today as it did dozens of years ago.
Two such individuals are Fred A. Lennon who founded Swagelok in 1947 and Ernest Poole whose father started PCL Construction in 1906.
“The price of quality is eternal vigilance,” Lennon said. His mantra was, “Make the best product possible to help customers succeed, and keep making it better.”
Mr. Poole wrote his principles into a 11-item list known internally at PCL as Poole's Rules.
Fundamentally, if you distill these mens' business outlook it would look something like this:
Our values guide the decisions we make as a company and as individual employees. They collectively describe what is most important to us, and set the bar for how we behave in our interactions with society, with our business partners and with one another.
Our policies specifically detail how we interact in certain areas of business and in most situations. They are the tactics we use to deploy the strategic values we embrace.
Here are some of our external-facing policies that relate externally to our customers' businesses:
Our organization is laser-focused on quality delivery while maintaining a perfect safety record. We are working towards ISO registration of our systems.
GT AIrCo's quality system encompasses our safety program which will be conformant to ISNetworld and COR by November 2022.
